Hello, I'm Kirsty, a certified Health and Wellness Coach

Hello, I’m Kirsty, a Certified Health and Wellness Coach specialising in helping women achieve their health and wellness goals.

My own transformative experiences with hormonal imbalance, mental health struggles, and disordered eating are what led me to pursue health coaching.

I have always been fascinated by human health. However, despite studying psychology and biology in school, I began my working life as a Chartered Accountant—a career that provided stability and the respected title I felt I needed.

I held exciting roles, working within the financial planning teams at McLaren Formula 1 and a leading online retailer.

During this time, I was training hard and believed that being physically fit meant I was healthy. However, alongside my professional success, I found myself stressed and trapped in a cycle of restrictive eating, compulsive exercise, and late-night binging—a pattern I couldn’t seem to break.

When I became a mum, I experienced feelings of overwhelm and confusion about what had happened to my body and sense of identity. The restrictive eating and late-night binging intensified, and I developed severe hormonal symptoms that were eventually diagnosed as PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder).

I began to question whether I was truly as healthy as I had thought and started reflecting on what true health and wellness might look like. I felt inspired to stop neglecting my health and make a change for myself and my new family.

When conventional treatments didn’t help, I turned to diet and lifestyle changes as a last resort. I wasn’t holding out much hope, but with no other options, I gave it a try—and it worked. I felt better than I ever had in my entire life. I became symptom-free without medication. I was finally off the hormonal rollercoaster I’d assumed was inevitable. I no longer restricted foods or felt compelled to binge eat, and my constant cravings for sweet foods disappeared. I felt healthy, happy, and excited, with a renewed sense of identity and purpose.

This revelation inspired my commitment to understanding the powerful impact of nutrition and lifestyle on mental, physical, and hormonal health. I knew it was time for a career change—one that would allow me to share this knowledge, pursue my passion, and support others in achieving long-term health and happiness.

I was very sceptical in the beginning as I wasn’t sure how this could possibly help ME. Kirsty made me feel so comfortable and at ease straight away. Very soon after even our first session Kirsty made me believe and realise anything is possible. We took small steps which started showing big improvements and changes. I was seeking health coaching because I was making too many poor choices with my foods. I wanted to make better choices but with the large amount of conflicting health messaging out there it was extremely overwhelming to decipher which message would be best for me. Kirsty helped me understand how blood sugar levels affect my energy levels, and hunger levels. I managed to change my habits, quite literally one meal at a time. We started with breakfast, then lunch and then dinner. The incremental changes meant that over the course of the programme I had gradually shifted my eating habits to far better choices, without a huge shock to the system. Even eating out, which can be tricky when trying to eat healthy, was made easier. I thought the change would be really difficult, but with Kirsty’s help it was much easier than I thought. I felt much fuller after meals and found myself craving snacks far less. My energy levels were far more sustained throughout the day. I would definitely recommend Kirsty as a coach, she was very informative whilst also being super considerate, kind and understanding of the situations in my life which affected my health choices. She worked with me to find solutions to barriers to healthy choices, and would check in with my progress throughout the week.

I sought coaching because I struggled with bad eating habits and wanted to understand why I couldn’t lose weight. Through the programme I learned that my challenges weren’t just related to food intake, but also tied to various aspects of my lifestyle. Since working with Kirsty, I’ve noticed significant changes; my cravings have lessened and I’m naturally inclined to choose healthier foods. Kirsty was incredible throughout the process. When I heard about health coaching, I didn’t really know what to expect and started the sessions opened minded, but slightly reserved as to what I would get from the. From the first session, my reservations disappeared as I have got and achieved far more than I thought I would have done! Through each session, Kirsty gently guided and taught me about blood sugar balancing, the science behind it and ways that I can easily incorporate it into my day-to-day life. What I really enjoyed, and this was part of the reason I got so much from the sessions, is that it was incorporating little ‘tweaks’ at first to include more protein in my diet, rather than going in straight away with a whole new diet plan. This helped me bed in the thought process and understanding of the science behind it. Running in tandem with this, was looking at my lifestyle in general and boosting what I’m doing (or trying to do) – for example, making a conscious decision to work harder at my aerobics sessions, and starting to walk to work again. Having these totally achievable goals helped me regain my focus – the culmination of a few smaller changes has really had a positive impact on many areas of my life. I would definitely recommend anyone to have Health and Wellness coaching with Kirsty, even if they’re not sure what they’ll get from it, as I’m sure they will achieve far more with her guidance and coaching than without.

I had been wanting to do a nutrition course for some time as my eating habits were causing me to have low energy levels, continuous hunger, and bad mood swings. I was also really confused about what I should be eating, with so much information out there about what's good and bad for you. Kirsty's health coaching sessions were recommended to me by a colleague. The sessions have completely exceeded my expectations, addressing my understanding of what to eat but also hugely improving my day to day life, relationships, and mental state. I am so much more calm and positive about life.
