There have been times in my life when I’ve felt completely disconnected from myself.
Before having children, I was obsessed with doing all the “right” things—studying, working hard, and trying to build a successful career. But underneath it all, I was struggling. My mental health wasn’t where I wanted it to be, my relationship with food felt chaotic, and I was exercising to ‘earn’ my food.
I experienced periods of depression, OCD, and bi
nge eating, and for a long time I believed I just needed more discipline, more control, more willpower to make things better.
The truth is, it was never about that.
Everything began to shift when I stopped trying to “fix” myself by comparing myself to others, and started to understand myself as an individual instead.
Having children brought a whole new level of emotional and physical challenges. I loved being a mum, but I also felt like my sense of identity (and my body!) had been completely turned upside down. My hormones felt all over the place, and conventional approaches weren’t making any real difference to how I was feeling.
This became my turning point.
Through learning about nutrition, lifestyle, and how deeply connected the body and mind are, I began to make small changes that had a transformational impact on how I looked and felt.
Not through extremes or restriction—but through simple, consistent changes.
I started supporting my body rather than fighting it.
Over time, I rebuilt my relationship with food. My mood s
tabilised. I felt happier than I had in years—calmer, more in control, and more grounded.
This journey is what led me here.
Now, as a health coach, I support women who feel the way I once did—overwhelmed, stuck in cycles with food, struggling with their mood, and unsure where to start. Because I truly understand how it feels.
If you’re feeling stuck right now, I want you to know this:
Change is possible.
Not through perfection—but through understanding, support, and small steps that actually last.
You just haven’t been shown the right way for your body yet.
